SOLD IN 16 DAYS!! The owners were moving to Kangaroo Island and phoned me on the 6th December wanting a sale by Christmas! As they wanted a cash contract they decided on the auction method but the usual time frame was not available so I conducted extra open inspections during the week. We had offers of $295,000, $305,000, and $310,000 prior to the auction. The auction was conducted on the 22nd December after work at 6pm and competitive bidding saw the house sold for $340,000!! Mission Achieved – the vendors were thrilled to have their house sold before Christmas and also in such a short time frame, and for $30,000 above the highest offer previously received!!
